A song written by CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, “Have A Good Night,” was recently played on the American TV news.
On the episode of the news that aired on October 23 (local time) on WPSD Local 6, the song was played in the part where morning coffee was introduced.
WPSD Local 6 is a popular channel served in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas. The channel also played “One Time,” another song written by Jung, in the news in August.
“Have A Good Night – CN Blue” appeared on the screen, and the news anchor said, “The song you’re listening now is CN Blue’s ‘Have A Good Night.’”
According to FNC Entertainment, CN Blue’s agency, the song seems to have been selected as a background song because of its lyrics and beat that go well with the content of the news.
The lyrics of the part played in the news is “Espresso double double shots. I, I will not sleep tonight. Tomorrow is a holiday. Espresso double double shots. I think I will stop to drink.”
“Have A Good Night” is a track of CN Blue’s first album, Code Name Blue, released in Japan on August 29. A total of nine tracks out of 13 were written by Jung. It sold 44,000 copies in the first week of the release and topped the Oricon Weekly Chart.
